The Most Wonderful hub

We are SO excited about Christmas! Matthew is so sweet and has blessed me so much in this season.
We got our Christmas Tree, it is tiny but we love it :) We put sparkly blue and white balls all over him and colorful lights. We already have gifts under the tree. But the most special thing is that we get to be together. Remembering how blessed we are to know Christ and His love.

Matthew is the most wonderful Hub in the world. Matthew, thank you for getting up early with me and making me breakfast, thank you for turning the car on before we have to leave so that it will be warm when I get it;), thank you for taking out the trash and getting my papers, thank you for making my lunch for me everyday, thank you for helping me at work every morning and vaccuming for me, thank you for tucking me in each night and letting me snuggle with you:), thank you for taking me out on dates and letting me get away with barely eating, thank you for never worrying about money and smiling at me when I want to support some, thank you for loving me the way you do and never giving up on me :) Your my Hero and My Bestfriend :)

Uncle & Aunt!!!!!

We are going to be an Uncle & Aunt! Stephanie & Aaron will be adopting a baby from Ethiopia! We are SO excited for them! What a blessing from God for this oppurtunity. Stephanie and Aaron were just approvd to strt the process and be put on a waiting list for a child. They have a huge heart for Orphan care, something that we as Christians are called to. They will start fundraising This weekend! Stephanie will be at the Craft & Bake sale at Southeastern, Saturday. So if your in the area stop by their table, (they will have signs for the adoption on the table). Also they have a blog coalsonadoption.blogspot.com , this is just about the adoption! So go and visit it! This is such a great ministry, so please be involved by praying for them and their baby that will soon be here. It will take 12-15 months, so they will have only a short time period to raise the funds. If you would like to support them go to their blog, there is a link there for that!

We are so proud of Steph and Aaron, they are such a beautiful couple and have shown a huge heart for the Lord and His work!

Washer & Dryer :)

The Lord has been teaching us patience in the past few weeks! We have now gone through three washers thinkin that they were all broken! Because thats what we were told, well apparently there was a rag in the pipe making it impossible to drain when to much water went though. Haha. So praise God we now have a washer and dryer! YAY! We are both so excited about clean clothes :O) God is teaching us how even through the small things in life we can glorify Him, or we can bring shame with sin. We want to perservere even when it comes to the small things.

We have been studying a lot with Savannah and Jonathan, while watching 24. good times :)We love school this semester even though Matthew beats me on every test we take! But its still fun.

Please be praying for us as we prepare to go on a mission trip with our College ABF, to Mexico! We are going there to help with one of our (Open Door) Church plants.
We will probably do Soccer Camps for the kids and Bible studies.

21st Birthday/1st Bday with Hubby

Yesterday was Savannah and my 21 Birhtday! It was wonderful! Matthew and Jonathen got us a sugarfree Ice cream cake to begin with, then breakfast with presents Igot jeans, shirts, the Lecrea CD AND the new John Mayer CD, a Pumkin and a northface jacket, then Matthew sang to me the biethday song all day, then Lunch with the Twin and Johnathen! then presents, jeans, books, nails, fun and MAtthew ;) Then All Organic Dinner at a super cool Cafe, with VanaDawn, Johnathan, and the Hus :)
Then we went to a movie and got a HUGE Popcorn which I preceded to spill on the Hubby....:D best ever. Ended the night snuggling next to my husband and bestfriend.

I am very blessed...mmy Hubby is the best ever :)

Hi blog world!

So life as a married couple is amazing! God has really had is hand upon us and we feel his grace and mercy every day!
So my new sister and I went to a coupon class together this last week and we are both so stoked about it! The teacher was amazing and taught us how to save on items we pay full price for everyday! We both can't wait to get started and now have something else we can do together! We learned from the class also that there are many ways to bless the community and even the military through couponing! So if any one wants more info you can contact me or Steph :)
We also start school this next week! All six of us (Matthew and I, Savannah and Jonathan, and Stephanie and Aaron)! We are all excited! Some of us have classes together, four of us (Savannah, Jonathan, Matthew, and I) all have finances together! Which is cool cause we can all save money together! Please be praying for each of us as we begin school, while still working and being very involved in our churches. Thank you for your continual encouragement and prayers!

So we have been living in our new home for a week now and we love it! Matthew is seriously the best Husband I could ever imagine. Living close to Steph and Aaron has always been a blessing but even moreso now. They had us over the other night for burgers (it was our fist married couples dinner! :) ). They were great and Tucker (the puppy) was adorable as always, and he is now officially my nephew! I love having a new sister, especially since she is already one of my best friends!

We are mostly settled in, still trying to get things completely unpacked and find a place for it! Which is not so simple haha. Its been so great living with Matthew, he does so much for me that I have always had to do by myself. Matthew also reads to me from the Bible and a devotional book every morning, then makes me coffee and breakfast :) This morning I had to get up before five! And Matthew still woke up to make me coffee and get me ready for the day. He is my hero, God has really blessed me :) We will start school in a weekm, which we are both looking forward to. We pray that we can glorify God with our time and priorities. Please keep us in your prayers as we begin this semester!

Thanks to everyone for all the congrats! Matthew said everything perfectly :) like always. We are so happy to be home and together. Disney world was AMAZING! I felt like a real princess, but Matthew makes me feel like that everyday. I got a button that said "just married" on it and it had Cinderella on it too!! I can't wait to show Savannah!
God was in every part of our wedding and it all was beautiful. He truly showed how awesome and amazing He is, when two sinners who deserve nothing are blessed with so much. We are so thankful to have such a gracious and loving God. We are also very blessed with wonderful family and friends, everyone helped with the wedding and made the special magnificent day even better. At one point I was trapped in the kitchen so Matthew wouldn't see me and there were four other ladies in there just cleaning and making things look pretty. I thought I couldn't be more blessed, these humble beautiful ladies showed me the love of Christ through their servanthood. Thank you everyone! It has meant the world to me! I loved every second of it and being married it SO GREAT!!!! Matthew is the most wonderful husband in the world. Please keep us in your prayers!

Married and Loving It!

July 31st has come and gone now when we thought that it would never ever get here. Samantha and I can't believe that we are married now!! It feels so unreal and we can't wait to start living life together!! The wedding was absolutely beautiful from the pictures that I have seen and from what I remember, we couldn't have done it without the help from all the people involved! What a wonderful journey that we have ahead of us and we can't wait to start it, this past year and a half has been the most amazing 18 months of our lives, 6 months ago we thought that July would never get here but now its already August. I now have the most wonderful wife in the world, I know she would do anything for me and I would do anything for her, what a love that we have for each other:) God has blessed us with more than we could ever imagine, as a married couple we want nothing more than to serve Him with our lives and marriage! We are blessed to have new parents and new brothers and sisters!! We love all of you and can't wait to get caught up with all of you and your lives! We are so happy that we got to see everyone at the wedding and if you didn't make it we would still love to see you guys sometime, we love you all!! To Stephanie and Aaron we can now go on married dates and be all cool together!!

Marriage SOON!

11 days! Not even two weeks anymore! We are down to a week and a half and we are both SO very excited!My brother, Savannah, and Sweet Caroline (one of my bridesmaids) is staying at Matthew's and my apartment until Saturday when we leave for Georgia! It has been so great. I love having my brother around I have missed him like crazy! And sweet Caroline is such a huge help and blessing. :) Savannah as always is wonderful and so very helpful, pretty much the best maid of Honor ever!
We are just doing last minute stuff now but most of all the big things are taken care of. We have a great support system with our family and friends so this whole process has not only been a blessing but also TONS of fun! :) We are very excited about being married and living the example of Christ and the Church. Please be in prayer for us and those at the wedding that all might see God's glory and become closer to Him.
We will leave this Saturday for Georgia and be there until the wedding. We'll have some parties and hang out with family and friends. I can't wait to see everyone!

Matthew is the best Fiancee on the planet. He has helped every step of the way and is always supportive and sweet. I know I don't derserve him. :) But I am so thankful for him!

Matthew taught me how to golf a little this weekend :) My very first lesson! And I loved it! I can't wait to go with him and golf. We had a great time going to the park/lake and then we went to top o' the river, it was my very first time and I loved it!
We are now in the Teens! Only nineteen more days! Keep praying for us as we prepare to be married. God has blessed us so much and we pray that we will glorify Him through all that we do.

Wedding plans!

This week we came to see my Aunt Star and cousins (and great cousins ;) ) and mommy & Daddy Hatchett! It has been great. We have made lots more plans and things are coming together! But really the best part is being with everyone. Family is so wonderful and we feel so blessed. Our family passes on their wisdom and love to us everyday.

On Monday we were with Aunt Star and the kids, we went to the pool and played. I was with London mostly (My cousins JR and Devin's daughter and I realized I would do anything for someone so cute and then it dawned on me why I do so much for Savannah...
we got to spend the day with them on Tuesday too! So much fun! They are adorable, Bryce (My cousins Son)played with me and Matthew. We would sit in the rocking chair and watch Daddy & Mommy Hatchett's doggie Dakota try to find his ball and once he did he would bring it back to us and we would get up and through it again. And then start the process all over. ha ha. Matthew in the in between times would hide behind a pole and play pick-a-boo with us :)
On Wednesday we ran around doing errands and finished the night off with "my bests Friends wedding" and putting together wedding favors! So much fun, and tons of laughs! Today we ran around looking for a kitchen table, a small one. We went to so many garage sales which reminded me of when I was young papa would take us and give us a dollar to spend! The simple days full of laughs and family are the best :)

In 23 days Matthew and I will be husband and wife! One of the best blessing about Matthew is not just that he supports me in my passion for Christ but that his passion drives mine on even more. Our one passion is to glorify Him, we know that our lives are worth nothing unless Christ uses them. And we are super thankful for the blessing to have one another. We are better for the kingdom together. We look forward to the wedding! We are so blessed to have so much help!

NEW HOME!

YAY! I moved into our new home this weekend! It is perfect! We love it! Mommy & Papa came down and Mommy & Daddy Hacthett came up to help, a HUGE thanks out to all four of you! You all have shown us what is looks like to follow Christ and serve Him. Thank you for all you do for us and taking care of us even though we are growing up :)We love and respect you all so much!

The house is beautiful and perfect! not to big or small, it fits us. :) I am completely moved in but Matthew wont get to until after we are married :) Our first dinner was pizza on the floor with paper plates, by far one of the best meals ever! Matthew already has made me coffee in our new cool coffee pot and it tasted so good! He is so good to me and takes such good care of me. He's the best Fiance' ever!
Also we have great nieghbors :) Our favorites of course are our some of our best friends Kimmie and Marshall Quesinberry.

Also my mommy gave me a pearl necklace and earings to wear on my wedding day! They are beautiful, she is so good to me! :)

God has really blessed Matthew and I, we both know we are undeserving of all He has done in our lives. But we are excited about Him using us.

New Address!

Matthew and I will be married on July 31st :) But I will be moving into our new duplex this Saturday! The duplexes are still technically campus housing, so I will still be able to walk to work! yay! Our new address is:

Getting Married!

Matthew and I will be getting married very soon! It 39 days now! We are both SO very exctied! Matthew asked me to marry him Five Months ago, on January 23rd! It was right befoe the sun had completely risen but by the time he hit his knee the sun was shining on my face! It was perfect, he is my Prince Charming :)
We just ordered the Napkins for the wedding which are yellow and have our names on them! We look forward to being able to see all our family and friends. We also get to move into our new home thisweekend, well I do. Matthew still has to live in his dorm room until we get married. :)So many exciting things happening! We both thank God for the oppurtunity to serve and glorify Him through marriage, by displaying Christ's relationship to the church through the union of husband and wife! We are very blessed to have someone who shares the same passion and dreams.
